Puppy Foundation Board and Train Program

A solid foundation is a must! For owners that may not have enough time or confidence getting their puppy started or properly raised, a board and train program may be a better option for you! For this program, we take your puppy in for a full immersion program where they get full access to the same training regimen our own dogs receive. Your puppy will be raised and trained around our fully trained personal dogs, which allows your puppy to progress at a much faster rate compared to private sessions and other training facilities!

Training includes: Puppy handling, crate training, potty training, proper leash and collar communication, recall, sit, and down. Introducing place, stay, and go to bed, depending on the age and training level of your puppy.

This is not the program for reactive or aggressive pups that need behavioral modifications!
Puppies must attain at least one round of shots and provide a negative fecal float (to test for parasites) before active participation. Please see our policies for more information.

Investment:

• 2 - 2.5 weeks - $1,750

Additional Details for Our Puppy Training Program

• Board and train packages include a comprehensive, one-hour “go home” overview and packet. A one- to two-hour follow-up session the week after drop-off is included as well. This covers everything your dog knows, how to properly handle them, and addresses any further uncertainties you may have.
  
• Herm Sprenger prong collars are included if puppy is of appropriate age and a 15-ft long line. E-collars need to be purchased separately.
• All board and train programs require a 50% non-refundable deposit at time of registration.

Adult Dog Board and Train Programs

Basic Obedience Board and Train Program: This multi-week program at The Elite K9 offers you a chance to fully immerse your dog in a bootcamp-style journey. We will confidently work towards building a dog that will achieve their full training potential, while working towards owner-specific goals.

This program is designed for owners seeking excellent obedience from their dog with a healthy and happy mindset. During this multi-week comprehensive program, your dog will master the following basic commands: heel, recall, sit, down, stay, and place, along with being fully kennel trained. They will be adjusted and well behaved both inside and outside of the house.

This program offers an availability in length of two to two-and-a half or four-week long increments.

Package includes:

• Top quality 1/2 mile e-collar training system
• 15-ft long lead
• Multiple follow up sessions are included to ensure you feel completely confident handling your dogs obedience inside and outside of your home, even after their stay with us is complete!
